Are there fake abortion clinics in Ontario?

While there are currently no fake clinics in Ontario, there are three in nearby Fontana, San Dimas, and Corona, as of October 2026. Fake clinics, also called crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs), can look like real clinics but are not, and they try to convince people to continue the pregnancy.

Red flags include:

  • Abortion services aren’t listed clearly
  • Staff won’t share pricing or timelines over the phone
  • The business advertises “counseling” or “options education” instead of abortion care
  • The address shows up for “abortion near me” searches but it isn’t a medical clinic
  • Staff pressure you to continue the pregnancy, or promote “abortion reversal”

Verify a clinic with INeedAnA.com or AbortionFinder.org, and report fake clinics at exposefakeclinics.com.
