- Severely restricted Medicaid and private insurance coverage: Alabama Medicaid does not cover abortion except in very limited circumstances of life endangerment. Private insurance coverage is limited in practice to the state’s limited exceptions to its abortion ban.

Beware of fake clinics in Alabama
