Life changing and surprisingly affordable. I had been told for the last 10 years there was scarification in my uterus due to other issues in my early adulthood, so I was not on birth control and remained INFERTILE for the last decade. Had partners I was intimate with for years, and not even a pregnancy scare. After a reckless (but consensual) and now regrettable time with someone, I had found myself pregnant. Hey Jane seriously changed my life from what could have happened and has been the best service I could have ever hoped for when dealing with this kind of situation. I am not in a place in my life anymore where I even WANT kids, and was completely okay with the fact that I couldn’t have anymore. Now that I know my body is not a hostile melting pot for sperm and I can very well get pregnant, I am very blessed and thankful for this service and the people behind it. Next stop is looking into the birth control services. Thank you again so much for the bottom of my heart.

Truly the easiest route I could have gone. I have 3 children already, and I'm married. I never thought being married I'd end up having an abortion, but it just isn't the right time. didn't get pregnant because of failed birth control, we simply just had unprotected sex. Hey Jane was wonderful to go through, only needing a urine at home test. I would've absolutely felt more guilt and sadness if I had to go to an in-person provider and get an ultrasound. They sent me everything I needed and more. Choosing to be at home was the best thing for me. I was also able to get birth control, and I appreciate the sliding scale fee. It was definitely cheaper than going in person as well. I'm grateful that something like Hey Jane exists, and would recommend them to anyone. You're not alone in this.

The process is quick, thorough, and private. There were additional tips provided to help decrease pain, which I did not experience during my other medical abortion procedure that was in person.

I was about 6-7 weeks. I was a little scared but I took the ibuprofen which helped too much. Took the second pill at 3pm and around 9-11pm it felt a little more intense but still bearable. Passed some clots even after like 2 days a couple of clots came out. It was very easy and not what everyone says especially being so early went be pretty well.

This was magic. This was women supporting women in their autonomy and health and operating in their own interest. I am so grateful and glad this is available for my daughters and all women who need support and care during stressful and difficult times.
