Wow... I can't believe this level of choice and privacy is possible. A huge thanks to all the dedicated women who've made HeyJane's simple, supportive process possible for people like me. Choosing to terminate if it's a really personal and difficult decision and this made it much less difficult. The actual medical process was much more gentle than I expected. I hope to never need to use hey Jake again but if I did... I would feel much less anxious.

Preparing patients for the emotional trauma of having an abortion! I know there are some that are ok with it. But there are others of us that thought we would be ok but were in no way prepared for the emotional loss. I feel as though this process was too easy to get into. I was unprepared for the violent pain of the misoprostol...at one point I was peeing, shitting, bleeding, and vomiting all at the same time. I then bled for weeks after. My period is still not normal but I'm pretty sure I just had one. The pure emotional pain has impacted my life and my relationship. I never want to go through this process again, and I feel sorry for the naive women with similar values that may stumble into this process as a last resort or out of fear.

Not only were representatives prompt in assisting with my questions and concerns, but I was provided thorough instructions for my plan of treatment without leaving my home.
