I chose to not continue with a pregnancy, it was an extremely difficult decision. I am so glad that this decision can be done in the comfort of my own home. Hey Jane made it one less worry for me during this period of time. My advice is to make sure you are prepared to stay in bed, relax and drink a lot of water. Set up a little spot where you can stay, have a towel underneath you, tissues and water beside you and watch something comforting. You’re not alone, and you will get through this. My experience with Hey Jane was great, given the circumstances. The Hey Jane website was very informative, and the whole process was pretty straightforward! My medication arrived quickly and came with all the directions I needed for the abortion. Being able to have the abortion at home was much more comfortable than having to go into a facility. I wasn’t sure if I would be judged for my decision.
