Experience with Hey Jane was much easier then I expected. It's private in your own home. The support system is wonderful. And the thoroughness of your medical history and possible conception date was wonderful.

I had a good experience, minus feeling like I wasn't cared for when I had extremely heavy and extended bleeding. I was pretty close to needing a blood transfusion, and they told me not to take my regular meds for when I have heavy bleeding. They told me to take taking Ibuprofen. I had to follow up with my regular dr's for care, extra labs & an ultrasound. My PCP told me I could've been taking my regular meds as they give them to birthing mothers. If hey jane told me that, I would've saved lots of time and money. I feel their lack of knowledge defeated the purpose of going through hey jane, and increased my overall cost.

Abortion is never an easy decision and if I had to do it again I would chose heyJane, they were discreet but also followed up and kept you informed as what to expect before, during and after. They have a support forum of women experiencing the same and they do not shame you for your decision. I really felt supported and not alone in this.
