Refund Policy

At Hey Jane, we're happy to accommodate refunds where necessary. To request a refund, please message us over our secure messaging app, Spruce. We cannot guarantee refunds in all circumstances due to our quick turnaround time. Please see details below:

Refund requests prior to prescriptions being sent: If during your visit, you are unsatisfied with the services provided, you change your mind about obtaining care through Hey Jane, and/or medication abortion is unsafe for you based on the clinician’s professional judgment, we’d be happy to provide a partial or full refund to your order. If you use our services and change your mind about proceeding, we will refund the full payment if you request a refund within 24 hours of payment. If you request a refund after 24 hours of payment and prior to writing your prescription, we will refund all but $50 for staff time and labor. Please note, once refunds are issued, funds can take a maximum of 5-10 business days to clear. 

Refund requests after prescriptions are sent: We do not offer refunds once your medications have been prescribed. We also can’t accept returns of abortion medications or provide refunds after medications have left our pharmacy partners’ facilities. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for unsuccessful terminations but will work closely with you to coordinate care with in person clinics as needed.

Insurance: For patients using insurance to cover the treatment, we can only offer copay refunds before your appointment with a Hey Jane provider.
